Criteria For the Award

• He must be a Life member of Ahmedabad Medical Association
• He must be a practicing or retired from family physician
• Preferably he must have served Ahmedabad Medical Association or Indian Medical Association
• He must have a good Socio-medical record
• His achievements in other field like written books, social achievements and also in medical field like paper presentation in conference , published articles in medical journals will carry credit points.
• Award will be given to living one(and not to a deceased one)
